Guest Houses & Small Hotels offering a very personal touch from the owner/manager. All rooms are en suite with either a shower or full bath. Courses:
Maybe the last true links course to be built in either Ireland or England, Doonbeg is ideally situated between two of Ireland’s other top ranked courses Ballybunion and Lahinch. Greg Norman has designed a magnificent links course, carved out of a landscape of grass-covered dunes bordering the Atlantic Ocean. Each of the holes offers wonderful panoramas of the ocean and the Irish countryside.

Designed by Tom Morris in 1889 and situated in the shadows of the Mourne Mountains Co Down is a spectacular location and an outstanding links golf course. It's charm lies in the old fashioned flavour of both the terrain and the layout. A mix of rugged dunes, coloured by a blend of purple heather and yellow flowering gorse combine to a dramatic effect on what is one of the toughest courses in the British Isles.

Royal Portrush Golf Club is home to one of the best and most challenging links golf courses in the world, the Dunluce Links, and the hidden gem, the Valley Links. The Dunluce Links is an outstanding course in a dramatic setting and is as fine a links as you will find anywhere, with the 5th being a particularly memorable hole to a green hanging on the edge of a cliff. Recently ranked No.4 in the British Isles.

Consistently ranked as one of the top five courses in Ireland. Most of the trouble is visible and the fairways and greens are generally flatter than other links courses in Ireland. However, the course is well bunkered and is open to the winds coming off the Irish Sea and Dublin Bay.

Ballybunion is a course that will test your patience. It is not a course that favours one particular style of play over another, but one that simply rewards good play and good shots. Ireland's most famous course and consistently rated amongst the worlds finest. Perched on a sandy cliff top, it makes its way through dunes and valleys with dramatic changes in elevation. The greens are often perched on mounds or carefully sheltered between sand dunes.

Lahinch Golf Club is frequently referred to as “the St. Andrew’s of Ireland” because of its close proximity and interaction with the local village. The links is situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and the combination of bracing air and wind from the sea is one of the enduring attractions for golfers who ply their skills on two magnificent championship courses. Lahinch is the permanent home to the South of Ireland Amateur Championship.
